Last week, a workshop focused on Technology Foresight and Innovation in Water Management was held in Křtiny, organised by the CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. cluster.

In the first session, Jan Čermák from the Association for Water in the Landscape introduced participants to concepts such as foresight, scenarios, and megatrends, providing an overview of the current state of foresight utilization in the Czech Republic and globally.

The second section featured a panel discussion on current trends and the application of foresight, with contributions from Petr Vymlatil (DESIGNTEC s.r.o.), Petr Kupec (Mendel University in Brno), Zbyněk Zachoval (Brno University of Technology), Petr Janál (Český hydrometeorologický ústav), Lubomír Procházka (GEOtest, a.s.), and Lukáš Dokulil (VZD INVEST s.r.o.).
